For the last 19-years Carolyn Layman has led the West End Ladies in one of the most remarkable Sunday school classes in West End history. Her love and dedication to the ladies is evident as soon as you enter her cozy Sunday School class.

Carolyn has felt led to teach this class for the past two decades and has led the ladies on some pretty enlightening bible studies like Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs and currently Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets.

As soon as you step into the ladies class you are face to face with two huge prayer boards. One board is for long-term or permanent requests and the other is for daily, weekly and current prayer needs.

The Ladies Sunday School class frequently enjoy special trips and project throughout the year including sponsoring two children in Peru who are orphans.

the ladies have a great spirit of unity and often hear each others ideas and work closely to implement the projects that are most beneficial to those they are trying to help.
